Cheaper to move to a public district you like.

They’re not free though. The system mostly depends on where you can afford to live.

Yeah, OP’s question was off the rails to begin with.

Just walk into any of them and shout "I'm not paying a lot for this muffler!"

Most will then discount to around $20K.

I would just say not to assume that because a school is religious that it indoctrinates in a negative way or would overrwrite your family belief system. I have known many kids who went to Catholic or Jesuit school that came out with a great set of values but who weren't influenced to attend Mass, for example.

No. Because it's not 2002

Nope. At that price point, you need to accept a crappy school, a religious school or a crappy religious school.

There are plenty of strong schools aside from the big names, but not for under $30k if you don’t want religious.

In our search last year we did not encounter any non religious high schools that were under $30K a year. Plenty of options that are not the big top tier pressure cookers or super athletic focus but the lowest tuition was still around $40k.

You basically just asked "is there a place that so severely underpays it's staff that it can be cheap, but somehow also attracts high quality staff." Do you realize that?

Without a religious organization subsidizing these schools, they have to charge a lot to attract good teachers, have great facilities, and all the rest.

So what else it’s out there beside the Bullis, Landon, Sidwell etc. Is there a nice decent high school under 30K that is non-religious? Looking in DC and MOCO.
