You should definitely take it to bring in income until something better comes along.

Nonsense. Those jobs are actually difficult to get. They do not want to hire professional people in between jobs that will leave as soon as they get the chance.

OP, take the job.

+1 Only OP knows their personal finances and how much they need the $. But no shame in taking a hourly job to tide you over, and remote work is attractive in many ways.

You definitely should take it. Better than bleeding money. Keep looking and obviously don’t put the job on your resume.

Is it full time or part time?
I’d take it.

That would be hard for me, but I'd probably do it. I think Trader Joe's pays more, but it's obviously not remote.

If you need the money, yes. You can always quit if you get something better.

A few years ago when I was looking to get back into the workforce after being a SAHM, I took a $8/hr remote job. I used it as a stepping stone to find something better.

I would take it if you need money. Sounds easy enough while you’re looking for more jobs.

Laid off fed here. My only Lu k in this job market so far has been landing a temporary seasonal job answering the phone for Williams Sonoma/pottery barn. It pays $15 an hour with no benefits. Would you take that or not even bother? A bi-weekly check will be under $1k after taxes.
