Honestly I don't mind the older kids coming by later. I give them all my remaining candy.

Our town literally has an ordinance stating anyone over 12 cannot trick or treat.

Agreed - any age if they make an effort with a costume. Let them be kids as long as they can be. Plus it's better than being into other mischief.

Children and fun-loving adults of all ages, as long as they're polite and hopefully in some sort of costume.

You come to my house on Halloween, you can have candy, costume or not. Kid or adult. I don’t want leftovers.

It’s a fun, festive evening. I’m not going to get upset over some candy. If you are, turn off your lights and sit in the basement

In HS I did ToT most years. Usually ToT for a bit paired with a casual house party.

Any age is fine. College? Sure. HS? Sure. Middle? Sure. What, I’m going to refuse an 18 year old candy just so I can bring it to the office where it will be eaten by …. adults?

Never! If older kids want to do something fun, safe and enjoyable... let them! So great for high schoolers to trick or treat instead of drinking at some party

Any kid (minor) going at appropriate hours in a real costume is fine.

What age is too old / inappropriate for kids to go trick or treating?
