OP here. We decided to scrap the California king adjustable base (we never used it) and start over with a king. We don’t want a split king because of the seam, and we don’t sleep in separate rooms. Any other suggestions?

We’ve tried Temperpedic and it hurts my back. I don’t think I can do memory foam because the heaving around to toss and turn hurts my back.

Suggestions?

Get seperate twin size beds. Couples don't have to sleep in the same bed, it's not a rule. You rest better in your own bed, or even own bedroom.

Use another bedroom for the make-sticky time if you need a larger than twin bed.

Tempur-pedic. You won't feel any movement.

We have a good latex and you feel movement.

You need to go try several out and lay on them together.

We have a Winkbed mattress. We bought it about five years ago, so I'm not sure if the manufacturing standards are still the same.

But it's great for reducing motion transfer.

I do recommend getting one level less firmness than in other mattresses because it tends to run VERY firm.

We have latex but I don’t know what kind. Hr not much motion transfer.

Separate bedrooms. Seriously.

Our Room & Board mattress is good for this. I think we got the luxury serene foam and coil hybrid, but they have several options you can test out.

This. Life saver. Plus you can each pick the mattress you want.

Op here. We tried this and really didn’t like the seam in the middle of us. We tried several seam fillers and they didn’t work. We also have a California King frame not a King.

We bought a Purple mattress a few months ago. Great for my hip/back pain an I like it. Issue is it has TERRIBLE motion transfer. My DH had major surgery and we can’t even sleep together because he so much as shifts and I wake up.
