Unless you have multiple children already, I would do donor eggs at 43.

I don’t think changing the clinic is likely to improve outcomes. Unfortunately, the odds of success from an individual cycle are relatively low at age 43. If anything changing clinics could make your odds worse by delaying additional IVF cycles. I would recommend doing more cycles at the current clinic immediately if you can afford it. Another possibility to consider is a related egg donor, if you have a younger sister. I did this with my kids and it has been very special for our family. It has been really cute to see the babies do a lot of things that my sister did when she was a child. People also think the kids look a lot like me and they are surprised when I tell them that my sister was the egg donor.

Is male factor possible? Are his numbers good? Worth checking if unsure. Our issue turned out to be DH.

Maybe Cornell, but really you are probably going to end up with donor eggs.

Thanks for the information! Which New Hope Fertility location did you go to?

CNY (in New York but does remote monitoring too) doesnt has as high of rates but will accept everyone. They do alot of out of the box/off label use of meds and might be able to help. https://www.cnyfertility.com/

CCRM Lone Tree. Then you’ve given it everything.

If you come to a point where you’re open to donor eggs, I highly suggest IVF Zlin in the Czech Republic. I had an excellent experience there. The lab is amazing. I went through the Vienna airport. They pick you up and the hotel and restaurant are in the clinic building. Everything is nice. I was treated in a very personal manner. Basically, they make it very pleasant and easy for you. It’s significantly less expensive than donor egg here. You get all of the fresh eggs and extra embryos can be frozen for future use. Ask for the Ptolutex SQ protesterone + vaginal. So much better than IM injections! I met other women in their 40s, mostly from other EU countries when I was there. We exchanged emails. Vast majority successful on the 1st transfer. Good luck!

Had two IVF cycles locally, 14 eggs retrieved, which resulted in 4 normally fertilized embryos which passed Day 3, but none of them progressed to blasts. I'm 43 this year, shall I consider switching to a different clinics either in the DMV area or other states? Which clinics have better success rates for women age 43+?
