The MAGA split in the US Catholic church is going to be interesting.

If the Pope keeps it up I give it 6 months before someone in the Trump administration calls him leftist, communist, woke, enemy, or the like.

MAGA evangelicals don't really consider Catholics to be "Christian" in the way they are. It's not like they care what the highest Catholic cleric says.

There are a lot of MAGA Catholics. How do they reconcile the words of Pope Leo, Pope Francis and Jesus himself with their MAGA beliefs? Who knows, but they know they really don’t like women who want abortions and trans people.

It has been pretty funny watching MAGA's 'mansplain" the Bible on twitter to the pope

Isn’t that exactly what his predecessor said about not promoting either Trump nor Harris? Something along the lines of, one kills babies and one harms immigrants?

For the first time in my life, I agree with the pope!

And to think, there were millions of Catholics that voted for Trump because he was the “pro life” candidate. Save the fetuses, kill everyone else.

Also he might have mentioned throwing tens of millions off ACA healthcare rolls and Medicaid, eviscerating SNAP, and dismantling USAID which is going to kill 40 million people over just the next few years.

Pope Leo knows that Trump is an anti Christ and that he is a test of evil versus good for all American Catholics, as well as people of other faiths and no faith at all.

Trump also told his nephew that he (nephew) should let his nonverbal profoundly disabled young son DIE so the nephew ‘could move to Florida!’ (Trump’s exact words!)

"Someone who says I'm against abortion but is in favor of the death penalty is not really pro-life," Pope Leo said. "And someone who says I'm against abortion but I'm in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants in the United States, I don't know if that's pro-life."

Thank you, Pope Leo!
