This is a good possible answer. Get him checked out medically, explore your options but DONOT catastrophize this. My son has alopecia. He’s been totally bald since second grade. The treatment options for his auto-immune condition are not appealing and while there were some tough times, by MS, he rocked his bald head with total confidence. He has no interest in treatments that increase his risk for lymphoma or severe infections. Risk that might make sense for some, but not if your kid is happy despite being different than most.
