I know two couples that do this. I would guess it's more than 1% of marriages, less than 10%? That's just a guess though.

DH and I used to have threesome/foursomes in our younger years and knew quite a few people who did too. Then kids come into the picture and it becomes less common. It's been probably about 2 years for us. Our thing is that DH loves to see me with others

Swinging is more common than you think, but it's going out of fashion because younger generations are more likely to have semi-fluid boundaries in their relationships anyway. They don't need to swing.
