It's literally three houses, side-by-side.

Then if you skip a couple houses, there are two more for sale. So out of 7 consecutive houses, 5 are for sale.

Why not do some internet sleuthing? Look up the owners names, then type them into google. Maybe they got new jobs, maybe they are all government employees, maybe they're employed by companies doing layoffs, or maybe there's some other pattern you can discern.

Coincidential I almost bought there in 2017. They have house and town homes in there and even a few condo townhomes. When built it was nice as differenct price points. House I was looking at was five bedrooms SFH on a 1/2 acre in there. Those are top ends and they have small condos too mixed in. But like Avenil orginal people turning over and people can upsize and downsize and live in same place.

Agreed. Great location. I live very nearby and would like to sell my sfh which i have owned for 27 years

BTW that is a great location if one person works in Mclean or VA and the other DC Very quick access to DC and VA from Maryland.

I know a couple who live there one works as a doctor in Georgetown and wife Freddie Mac. Really close to both while still being in Maryland by nature with W schools

thats a older subdivision with a lot of older residents retiring or sadly dying. Means nothing. My block built 1975 in Potomac between 2016-2020 had a lot of sales as original owners dying or passing away

Doubtful there's anything going on. I think it looks like a cluster only because these are townhouses and there are so many more individual homes than in the surrounding area.

I suspect it's more likely that with the current federal job market people took early retirement and are leaving the area or downsizing. Or people that have been wanting to move for years but have been holding off because of the housing market decided it looks like interest rates will finally go down soon, which would kickstart the housing market.

Right now there are four houses for sale on Whiterim Dr and Whiterim Ter in Potomac. I’m interested in this subdivision, but wondering if this is a red flag. Is something going on with the community that has made multiple people want to get out? Looks like a good location and decent price point for the schools
