Subject: Storing Vehicles on Public Streets
Anytime I get annoyed about something like this I just remind myself that this is part of living in a populated area. People can be annoying! But that doesn't mean you need to "put them in their place" for every minor annoyance to your life.
I enjoy so much more about living in a densely populated place than I would living somewhere with more personal space. So these are the times I remember that.
Also, at some point our house will have 4 cars (when my kid are 16+) instead of the very manageable 2 we have now. So we will take our turn as the more annoying neighbor at some point.

There is likely some time limit less than 2 weeks in which the cars are supposed to be moved. The question is how much does this bother you or make things hard for you or for other neighbors? Are there driveways in your neighborhood or street only? Check the law and decide if you want to make a phone call.

It's amazing to me how people can just create threads to whine about reporting something without first checking what the law says in their area.

Does driving them for a half hour or so every two to four weeks count? We have a neighbor who has been storing extra cars on our street for years. They use their driveway for the ones they drive regularly, but the others are just parked long term on the street, taking up spaces. Frequently, when they go to drive one around for a bit, the car will have sat for so long that it won’t start and they have to jump it. Plus, they’re older, beat up cars.
Sure, not illegal, but inconsiderate of the neighbors.

It would annoy me but it's just part of living in a neighborhood. I live next to a group house with 5 cars and ,2 trucks..and a 1car driveway. We can rarely park our second car in front of our own house. They rent so I hope they eventually move but it has been a long time now.

The person lives there and owns these vehicles and uses them regularly? There are no HSA-type restrictions? They aren’t abandoned? They aren’t part of a home business like a repair shop or detailing business or delivery business? They are owned by and used by the owner for personal use?
