Even if you were not being “frugal” w/your Japanese vehicles I am confident that they still would be running well since everyone knows that Japanese cars, especially Hondas + Toyotas run forever!!

This would be a good idea in theory, but since I live in Cali (where car IS king!) unfortunately I cannot live w/out my car even for a day!

Our public transportation system here sucks. ☹️

Yes, but I'm not going to. We've used our basic Japanese cars very lightly all these years, so much so that they're in good shape at 20 and 15 years of age. So taking a week off is meaningless in our frugal vehicle usage.
