My cousin Ethan is in his late 40's and he's in California.

+1 I only knew one Ethan growing up - I’m 52 and he was a year ahead of me in high school - but they are EVERYWHERE now.
My DH and I were just discussing boy names that have disappeared - agree with Todd but also Scott and Kevin.
These plus Kyle, Bruce, Eric
None of these have disappeared. I’m a HS teacher and have taught several of these in recent years including this year. Ethans too. I know a lot of kids named Kyle and Eric or Erik specifically.

I thought Stacey was the ultimate “cool girl” name when I was a kid in the 80s. I know precisely zero adult Staceys.

I'm Gen X, born in 70s and I dated an Ethan for a while. He felt like around our age it was super rare to be called Ethan. No name tag license plates for him!

I had an Ethan in my law school class. He was from Boston and we were in school in California.
I used to work with a guy who had a son named Ethan who would be about 45 now, I think.

Hah I just saw a tweet/post about this very topic and the name they used was Cody. Where are all the adults named Cody! That name was everywhere back in the day if you were a Millennial. Especially born in the late 80s/early 90s. But now I don’t know a single adult man named Cody.

Sometimes I sit and think of names that I haven’t heard of in a while.
Ethan’s would’ve been a generation or so younger than myself. I work with a good number of young people (financial industry).
