The problem going with the hyper progressive agenda, at least for me, isn’t a lack of compassion, it’s practicality. If the policies were things that worked towards the goals a lot more of us might support because I share many of those hopes. The problem is with the ideas that wing thinks should work but then puts all of the affordable housing companies on the ropes towards bankruptcy or plays catch-and-release with car jackers.
