The person I married seemed decent, and kind. Time revealed that was a mask. Now we have kids, so I do what's best for them and stay married instead of blowing up their home, tanking our finances, etc. When the kids are grown, we'll "grey divorce".

No. But they were good looking enough. Unfortunately years of indifference towards me and looks completely gone are killing our relationship, I’m sure among other things. I’m not blameless even though I’ve worked hard to not lose my attractiveness.

I think he's hot as hell and keeps getting hotter though that might be my 40 year old libido talking.. Other people think he's attractive too and early that made me insecure because I'm More of a plain Jane but he makes me feel beautiful.
But what initially attracted me to him was who he is as a person he's a wonderful good person and exactly what I wanted in a partner and that's what keeps me his heart and I can't imagine doing life without him

I think so, and that's all that matters. Although I do think he's objectively good looking. As am I.
At this point I'd love him if he didn't look like that (obviously he's changed in the last 15 years, we both have, we're getting older. although I think he's better looking now than he was when we met), but I can't say if I'd have been attracted to him in the beginning if he weren't as good looking.
