Agree- I wouldn't want to monitor phone/internet use during a playdate either. This would be fine with me.

It sounds reasonable to me. She doesn't want to monitor phone use during the playdate, she doesn't know what parental controls you have set up on your kids phones.
We do phones much later, but when my kids were that age and their friends had phones I would not let them take it upstairs - only public areas of the house.

I don’t have an issue with it. The girls are there to play with each other. I’m fine with it being a “no electronics” play date.
