No, not free and fair. Some qualified voters will get kicked off the rolls “by accident” and won’t find out until voting day. Mail-in voting will be banned, meaning college students cannot vote in their home state and will not qualify as residents to vote in their college state. If P2025 gets its way, married women will have to jump through hoops to prove they are qualified to vote if their name is different from their birth certificate.

When in America, have we ever had elections where all the parties and men in charge actually wanted everyone to vote and have their votes counted. Our elections have not been free and paid since our inception. None of it was ever real.

No, I don't believe that. I also don't believe that's been the case for a long time. I don't know what to do about it.

I used to believe that all of the -isms and -phobias of our society, while they certainly existed, we're banished to the edges of society, and generally not welcomed in polite society. This year has shaken me out of my naivete. Today, I don't put anything past this regime, and I don't put anything past the white masses to fall in line and allow it.

I'm doing what I can to prepare for harder times, and to keep my family safe, but also making peace with the reality that a lot of this is out of my hands, and trying to enjoy each day as it comes.

I feel like most people will want to get the country back on track by then. No more excuses. I still hear some saying “trump says to give it time”….but he is running out if time. It’s going to get worse.

I think that if he make it to 2026 with fair elections then we have a good chance in 2028. Baring a lot of cheating the Democrats take the House and Senate.

Of course, if we’ve learned anything it’s that they will cheat, so it will get ugly.

If there's evidence of fraud, they can call a new election, which happened for a House seat in North Carolina in 2018.

Gerrymandering and voer supporession will be over the top, add to it ICE agents and ther extrajudicial thugs literally blocking polling stations. That is all in a best case scenario. Worse case, there simply won't be elections because of some invented emergency. Yes, elections are up to the states, but there is nothing to say that the House and senate won't seat newly elected Congresspeople or an Electoral College would meet to certify elections in 2028.

So many people say no, yet are doing little to nothing about it. How many actually believe what they are saying and how many are fear mongering?

FWIW I don’t think it is as simple as x percent is liberal/MAGA and therefore believe/don’t believe free and fair elections will happen in 2026 and 2028.

FWIW I think Trump looks too sick and frail these days to continue beyond this term. He might not make to the end. Without him, the MAGA cult falls apart. It will fracture and become less able to hold the reins.
