What sport could this even be? Gymnastics, dance, and baseball prents are kind of nutty. Basketball I could see if the daily practice is just shooting hoops in the driveway.

Ok. Klassy. With the K.

*My kid and I were accused.* This bothered me as well. It's hard to want to read on after two big grammatical sins were committed in the first sentence.

Keep everything the parent sent you so far. If they start escalating to a level where you need to get the police involved, you need documentation.

My interactions with the parent and the child were friendly up until the incident, no issues except for a couple of minor he said/she said (kids stuff) which was addressed on the spot. Their kid is super sensitive and constantly gets upset about everything. The parent tried to get the coaches involved, but they’re staying out of it and have not approached me at all on the issue (which is good). The parent is extremely obsessed with the sport, their kid is 6yo and spends over an hour each day practicing (6/7 days a week) on top of our regular practice schedule three days a week. Mine does regular practice schedule and maybe another private lesson once a week for 30 minutes. There are constant posts on social media from the parent about their kid practicing and how great their kid is. I always snooze them. I think all of it is really unhealthy, especially for that age….How would you deal with it? Just keep the distance and stay out of the drama?

Both of you sound intense and bizarre. Both of your kids are going to resent this some day.

It is a troll, obviously…

Stay as far away as possible and don’t engage. Instruct your kid as to the same.,
