My child is not sneezing and doesn’t have a cold. Her eyes are red and swollen.

Agreed. Go covid test your kid. It's going around.

Yes, we have 10-12 mice. But they only come out when no one is around and they poop everywhere. I told Dr Reid about our pet but she hasn’t come by to meet them yet.

My daughter’s middle school science class had fish. They loved them.

I have found memories of the class pets in the 80s and us getting to take them home for the weekend.

Allergies are reactions to specific proteins found in an animal's skin cells (dander), saliva, or urine. Since cats, dogs, and guinea pigs produce different proteins, an allergy to one does not guarantee an allergy to another.

My son’s 1st grade class had a pet gerbil last year (it could have been a hamster or a guinea pig). They all look the same to me.

I can’t think of any classroom in our ES that currently has a pet. One classroom had some type of lizard, but that was at least 3 years ago.

It’s a hamster or Guinea pig. I don’t think it’s fair to medicate my child and I had never heard of animals at school. Dd is allergic to cats and dogs we aren’t sure about the class pet just curious.

No kid should have to be doped up on Zyrtec every day. Do you know tired that makes you feel? Animals have no place in schools.

Please be a troll.

“We think” is very different than actually is allergic. What pet is it?

My DDs classroom teacher has a pet, is this allowed? We think she may be allergic to it.
