Chicago is being invaded by ICE and other federal agencies right now. We have been going through this in DC. Try to protect your neighbors who are in danger of being detained. Join the local protests. If you see someone being arrested, video it. Yell at the officers. Try to get others to help. The more that the ICE agents have to stand around listening to you yell, the less able they are to arrest others. Make them devote more resources to what they are doing.

The oligarchs may control the media but they dont' control the streets. Not yet. Just keep poking them. In numbers, we can be the giant cloud of annoying mosquitoes that keep bothering them, keep mocking them, keep ridiculing them. They can swat one of us away but they can't get all of us.

We are stronger together and the sooner traditional conservatives and Independents wake up to what is happening, the sooner we can end this before it gets too entrenched.

So it seems we are living in an authoritarian state. What is the most effective way to oppose it? All of you political scientists/history buffs, what has worked in the past? I have no confidence we will have any more free and fair elections, if we even have them going forward.
