Your doctor is following national guidelines. They are (have been up to now, anyway) based upon the latest scientific evidence (which includes a cost benefit determination, since no intervention is risk free).

When I am 75, I will get it. (And I have a PhDin public health)

What is wrong with you? So should the vast majority of people posting here about a million different things, including you.

OP please ignore miserable people like this.

I think the side effects definitely would be less than contracting RSV.

OP you really have a burr up your 🍑 about this. Get it or don’t. No one can tell you what to do. Use those brain cells.

People ask about statins. Why is my post different? OP

Are you serious?
"Why don't you go ask the xyz" could be an answer to many threads on DCUM.
Why is this stirring versus the covid shot thread? BTW I was the one that drove to Rockville on the 5th.
Ageism doesn't look good on you. Makes little wrinkles around the mouth ya know.

That wasn't OP. That was me and an entirely different poster. Apparently, reading comprehension is not your thing, and neither is basic human decency.

Arm slightly sore next day. Nothing else. RSV does not usually have a sharp response.

My kid got RSV when he was 2 (before the vaccine was available) and he got scary high fevers that would spike up to 104 the second the Ibuprofen wore off (Tylenol didn't touch them). It was by far the sickest he had ever been.

I asked before. No response and the post seems to have vanished?????

Anyway and experience with RSV vaccine? Side effects, arm soreness, etc.? I ssk because my doc had not been enthusiastic in past years on a cost benefit basis but now that I will be 75 said to get it.

I am a bit hesitant. Seems like a bigger deal than covid, flu, etc all of which I happily get.

Thanks for any feedback.

This is not antivax btw.
