No way. First deadlines are Nov 1 for my kid. They will likely submit mid October.

How many have you submitted early?

Every kid is different

Ours are both in college now. Oldest submitted a rolling admission application in mid-August and everything else late October. The youngest submitted 1 ED and 5 EAs by August 5, and had an ED 2 and 5 RD applications done by early November.

Oldest attends from an EA application, youngest from ED, youngest never submitted the other 6 applications and had withdrawn the other 5 within a few minutes of receiving their ED acceptance

Lol. No. He will be submitting close to due date, if not on the due date. Older brother did the same and it was fine. Early submission doesn't get you anything if it's not rolling admission.

Relax. It's fine. Last year, my kid submitted on the RD deadline and was admitted. The year before, older sibling submitted an ED application to a T10 on Nov 1, the deadline, and was admitted.

Auburn's deadline for first round of EA is today (09/15). Not what Common App said but we knew to look directly on their website from prior years' applicants.

So the "Submit" button got pushed over this past weekend. A few others (without Supplementals) also got the sent.

Good Luck to All!

Our DS only moved as quickly as he did with everything to get the recommendation letters from teachers and guidance counselor completed. He's submitted 3 applications and has I think 3 more to go? Also he wanted to get as much done as he could before school and activities start getting more involved.

My DC hasn’t even finished their personal statement. No supplements are even started. ED is due 11/1 along with 8 other EA applications. Feel superior, OP?

Most kids finish at the last minute, so you should know that you're being really insensitive right now.

Mine isn't even close to submitting. Her ED and EAs are due Nov. 1 and Nov. 15.

My child has submitted zero. The earliest deadline is October 15th. The other EA/ED deadlines are November 1st. They will all be submitted prior to those deadlines. And then there is a short break before turning to RD applications.

Is everyone pretty much done with their early action/decision apps? Have your kids submitted them all and now you’re taking a break?
