It took about 4 to 6 weeks for PIV to be more comfortable. But, it made me break out.

My doctor had me do a loading dose of 0.01% cream every night for two weeks, then move to 2x/week. I use the tiniest pea-size dab. I saw results in those first two weeks. My pain level for PIV is gone. It's amazing!

Use the suppository the night before PIV. And do don't PIV if it's super painful. Sheesh. Your husband should suck it up.

Completed 1st week of treatment, decided to give it a try. Not as dry but still painful. Hoping next week will be better. Yes, I'm asking my DH to be patient and only do PIV after a full week of treatment. I may up it to 2x a week based on how I feel next week. I just can't take the feeling of a 1000 paper cuts any longer.

It worked for me pretty much immediately.

Depends what results you want. Less dryness and soreness give it a month. Urinary stuff longer.

I’ve been on HRT for about 8 months and just started the vaginal estrogen. I put it in 3x per week. How long might it take to see results? thanks!
