My Dad was stationed at Camp Lejeune and knew multiple people killed in the Beirut barracks biking and that doesn't even get covered in history class.

I lived close to Oklahoka City when the bombing happened and can remember my first grade teacher crying in class because her sister worked in the building. And people seem to have just forgotten that one too.

My kids 6th grade teacher talked about per what my kid said.

My high schooler watched a documentary about it in Government. She actually sought out additional information on her own after that..

I work at the Pentagon but very few people were talking about 9/11. A group of us got together and went out to the memorial but for the most part it was a day at work. People had to adjust departure times for meetings because they moved the ceremony into the courtyard and closed off some of the normal pathways.

Yes, MS did. Moment of silence, too. The kids have seen the video. They know.

I have high schoolers reading at the kindergarten level of phonics. In mainstream level classes working on letter sounds. I need history to teach history so I can teach them how to READ.

I’m a teacher. A couple of my co-workers and I talked about, but I didn’t bring it up with my class of 4th graders.

Not a word in DDs 5th grade class.

Yes, on the morning announcements the principal said a few words and requested we dedicate the daily “moment of silence” to the lives lost 24 years ago.

I didn't ask my kids, but I saw a LOT about 9/11 remembrance today. A LOT of my friend lived in NY and DC that day. We all remember, we will never forget. I was literally driving past the pentagon when the plane came down.

My sixth grader's teacher talked about it, where she was during the attacks and what it was like.

iT FELLS LIKE No one talked about 9/11 today. My DS civics teacher was the only one that told us, he was in 8th grade the same school when he found out the "towers were gone"...
