You can put a metal sink protector/rack on the bottom. That's what I did. Sink looks as good as new, 8 years.

That’s what I have and I love mine. OP I think it’s a fairly timeless look. I’m confused by the short posters who say it makes their back hurt- how is it different than any other sink? I’m 5’2 and haven’t had this issue so wondering what you mean /)

I’ve had my white farmhouse sink for 10 years and I love it. Yes it marks easily, but 98% of those marks come off with Bon Ami. I also have a metal rack on the bottom which helps a lot. However, if you prefer low maintenance I would stick with stainless steel.

I hate my white farmhouse sink. Our kitchen was redone 15 years ago, and we are doing a light renovation next year. It is literally the first thing on the list of things I would never do again. We have chips, stains (in spite of plenty of cleaning). It is weirdly low, so water too easily sprays out when people aren't careful.

Won't be getting a farm house sink ever again

Ours isn’t that deep. I’m 5’1”.

Still love it! And the soapstone countertops.

How DO you keep the details (grooves, edges, whatever) clean on white cabinets? It's an issue here.

OP, I love the look of farmhouse sinks, I never regret our stainless, because it makes life so easy.
Whatever sink you choose, make sure you have rounded corners and decent slope at the base - makes cleaning so much easier.

I still love mine after 5 years. Love the quartz in the kitchen too. HATE the real marble that's in a couple of our bathrooms, so many water spots despite really trying to be diligent about it.

I don’t like it. No chips but shows scratches especially on the bottom. I wish we had done something else but I don’t think stainless is the right choice either.

Tell me more about your regrets with the marble counters and backsplash.

I’m leaning towards marble-looking quartz slabs for the counter and backsplash.

How long have you had it? How has it held up? Chips? Dirty? Any regrets?

I need to make a quick decision.
