There’s no part of me that wants to watch someone with 3 little kids that’s been convicted of felony DV look for a new relationship. The double standard is also real with this one, you think they would cast a dude with 3 little kids with 2 different women who has been convicted of felony DV as the bachelor?!
I could have written this myself, but I don't think it's *just* our age. 15-20 years ago, when we were the same age as the contestants, there wasn't this level of dysfunction/drama. Sure, the contestants were catty and backstabbed each other, but no one had prior convictions or public swinging scandals. This level of insanity is new in the last couple of years.
I watched maybe 1 or 2 episodes of the first season of the Mormon Wives show at a friend's suggestion, and just couldn't bring myself to watch any more. From what I recall, she was one of the most explosive, least articulate women on that show (and they aren't a bunch of Zen rocket scientists, so that is saying something). She seems to have maybe the intellectual depth and emotional maturity of a 13 year old.
Obviously she's getting her $$ for this, but I think long run it's a terrible idea, very exploitative of her and her various issues (though she is clearly complicit in exploiting herself but I'm truly not sure she understands the consequences) and definitely the family/kids.
