Aspire points are based on CAPE (PARCC). OSSE just announced the district is switching to Smarter Balanced next school year.

Agenda is up. There's not a lot on it, which probably means no school is in serious crisis (but who knows, the PCSB might be unaware!) There is an "Accountability Presentation" and the School Finance Monthly Oversight Report.
Not a lot on the agenda but the Amendments are interesting:
- Howard MS wants to amend its goals and move to a new facility. The facility proposal is included on the PCSB website but there is nothing on what the change in goals entails. I wonder how they expect public comment if the public does't know what to comment on?
- Academy of Hope seeks to increase its enrollment ceiling by 500 more students.
- Kingsman seeks to add a residential program for some of its students. That will be an interesting discussion given the concerns around SEED and its residential program.
It's also noteworthy that there's been nothing more substantial about SEED since the rather cryptic meeting at the end of last school year.

Sometimes the public comment section of the website is the earliest way to find out about things.

That sounds like a brand of margarine.

Anonymous wrote:Probably about Aspire. First year scores are counting. Immediately outdated because OSSE just announced they are changing assessments again.

Accountability Presentation? They must be talking about the new state test and what it means for charter schools and families and for holding schools accountable.
