I would guess no aid. The median HHI income in Maryland is $100,000, you are above the 85%. Do you own your own home and have retirement/college savings, no student loans, no elderly parents, no medical issues? Then you probably don’t qualify for FA.

I don’t think 40 percent get aid, their web site says 30 percent. Is your other child in private school?

Both of them are in private school. We have some savings too. So not possible to get any financial aid?

I think that’s unlikely. If you have 2 kids there or maybe there and Gilman you may get a little. It’s expensive. We are very glad we’re making it work FWIW.

Re the Chromebooks, it there is Technology Fee of $230 per year is assessed to each Middle School student which goes towards operating the Middle School student Chromebook program.

There isn’t a lot of outside expenses for lower school. Uniform costs is probably the biggest. However, assume tuition increases every year. Middle schoolers and older have to work purchase a laptop and all books.

Thanks! For the laptop and books, do you have to buy from BMS or you can order by yourself from anywhere you want?
