Who puts a phone in the microwave?


What model iPhone? Some have separate Bluetooth modules and replacing that module shouldn't be too expensive.

Modern microwaves are fairly tolerant of metal. You might blow a fuse in the microwave, but it's rare. People use microwaves as smelters.

I still don’t know why they did it, but I suspect YouTube. You can judge me for that too. I was appalled. That’s sad. I think we’ve all done things so we’re not the smartest when we were kids. Thankfully, she didn’t get hurt and nothing suffered, minus my phone.

To answer…Like many of you I don’t have a house phone and they were using it to talk to their friend. I was giving them privacy by being on the other end of the house. There was a big conversation about safety and how dangerous it was.

Will check out AppleCare that’s a good suggestion.
