I would just use dry shampoo and plan to have your hair up every other day.

Bumping in case anybody has been there done that

I developed dandruff a few months back and my dermatologist recommended I use a dandruff shampoo a few days a week.

In addition to dandruff, I have thinner, fine hair that needs either daily washing/styling or washing/styling every other day with dry shampoo on off days. I’ve typically done the every other day thing to give my hair a break from heat styling (which I need, bc not only is my hair dandruffy, thin and fine, it is also frizzy — jealous?

I’m wondering which is better, for the health of my scalp/hair and for my ability to have second day hair look presentable for work. To shampoo and style daily with dandruff shampoo, which is more washing and drying than usual, which I presume will not help the dandruff or overall condition of my hair. Or keep to an every other day schedule and use dry shampoo which I presume is also bad for my scalp and dandruff.

Anyone BTDT?
