I do a lot of Asian cooking, though not with a wok. Mostly stir fry, curries, stews. I prefer slimmer, more oval shaped utensils than the ones you linked. I find the round utensils harder to use and to store. I have an olive wood set from Williams Sonoma that requires handwashing, and a cheaper set that I put in the dishwasher, even though I shouldn’t.

I researched about the best wooden cooking utensils for the past few days because I want something durable, safe for nonstick pans, and long-lasting in my kitchen. I read reviews on The New York Times, Consumer Reports, Food Network, and Popular Mechanics, and they consistently recommend these two as the best:

However, I am having a tough time deciding which one would be more suitable for my needs. I do a lot of daily cooking (soups, stir-fry, rice, curries, baking prep, etc.), so I need utensils that won’t crack, absorb odors, or damage cookware.
Has anyone here tried these sets? Which one do you recoommend in terms of quality, comfort, and durability? Or do you suggest any other wooden cooking utensil brands that are even better in 2025?Any advice will be really appreciated. thanks in advance.
