Don’t share your location anymore with him. Start looking for clues.

The location tracking feature just breeds paranoia. No good can come of it. Except a good feature for minor children, only.

Op, if you're so inclined, find out the truth based on other things.

Bullshit. Would you be willing to let your spouse or anyone else just go completely through your phone, reading all your text messages and all your emails and seeing everything you’ve ever searched for? I wouldn’t and it’s not because I’m cheating. It’s because we’re all entitled to a little bit of privacy!

Still, I'm not sharing. There would have to be some health crisis or some reason I can't even imagine. It's just a mindset. Drop your objection, Op.

You said a lot without actually saying what your POV is.

Also, OPs husband has no problem checking on his wife so whatever his objection might be is not relevant when it comes to other people, apparently. So hyopcriutical. I would most definitely not be "dropping the objection."

OP here. I wasn’t ever able to see his location. So he didn’t turn it off just never shared his, although I always shared mine.

Apologies for misreading! I would still be very uncomfortable with the imbalance then as well. Very creepy.

I don’t want my spouse knowing my location. It’s weird.

DH set up our kids’ devices so that he and I can control their screen time and can see their locations. I noticed that (for more than a year) he has been able to see my location but I can’t see his and he has told me that he checks mine. I didn’t mention previously not being able to see his and assumed he just didn’t realize he was not sharing it. The other night I mentioned it and he said he’s not comfortable sharing his location with me. If I want to stop sharing mine, that’s fine but he won’t share his.

I’m really hurt by this. I don’t need to see his location (although it would be helpful sometimes to know how far away he is from home without having to call and ask, etc.). But the fact that he has a problem with me seeing it when he tracked mine for years really bothers me. I think it raises issues of trust, a power imbalance, etc. How would you handle this?
