Greek “favas” are just yellow split peas. You can find them with the dried beans in most grocery stores.

I have been making this dish since I fell in love with it in Greece several years ago.

I know there's a store in Falls Church but anyone have a recommended online source? Trying to re-live a great dish we had in Santorini. We have the Santorini capers. Just needs the favas!
