GMU also had a good list of winter term trips open to non-GMU students. If I recall correctly, most were 10-14 days. Look up their study abroad program online.

He's at JMU. Does a club sport, but nothing avaliable though that. He doesn't want to do the study abroad or volunteer trip options. I've been googlong myself, and I haven't really been able to find any tour companies that cater to college students. I have a message sent to Contiki. Hopefully, they respond with some possible options.

What college is he at now? He should take a look there first.

Some clubs have winter break excursions. Dd's school has a ski club, for example, and (at least in years past) had an organized trip to Killington over winter break.

Does anyone know of reputable companies that offer winter break trip specifically for college students? My son (19 years) wants to go on some sort of planned excursion, but he doesn't like any of the winter break study abroad options at his school. (He doesn't want to attend classes, he just wants to have some planned excursions with other "kids.")

He earned lots of money at his summer job this past season, so he has about $2000 to $4500 to spend. His initial google searches just yielded generic travel companies, not ones that cater to college students on break. Any ideas for him?
