Only if you want to bring home 3 cases of canned seltzer.

No canned seltzer

A case of regular rottled water

Some kind of flavored sparkling water, like LaCroix

A nice sparkling water like San Pelligrino

A 6 pack of diet coke and a 6 pack of Dr. Pepper. Those are the 2 sodas that disappear when we host gatherings. The other soda flavors tend to go untouched unless there are kids involved.

LaCroix is interchangeable with canned seltzer.

I just saw it was for a book club, not an actual party.

People will drink maaaybe one non-alcoholic drink each.

For a book club not a party, my revised list is:

3 large bottles of bottled water, already chilled

2 large bottles of San Pelligrino, already chilled

Lemon slices and mint sprigs to make the water fancy

A pitcher or caraffe of some kind of fresh lemonade or juice mixed with fresh berries/fruit mixed with sparkling water for a fancy non alcoholic drink, such as non alcoholic bellinis, cosmos or sangria. There are lots of fun mocktail recipes online that are quite simple to make. If you are too busy, get a selection of flavored sparkling waters or mocktails. It will be less than a 1 can per person ratio

No soda, not even Diet Coke

If the host does not plan to have glasses, then pick up some nicer plastic cups (large size) for the non alcoholic drinks

Confirm with the hostess that she will have ice available. If not, bring a container of ice.

go ahead and splurge on a $3 bag of ice. for heaven's sake

Same here. I’d get 3 bottles of pellegrino and some limes, plus 3 bottle of their alcohol drinks and lemonade/juice drinks.

I’d honestly have more fun with this than a wine assignment.

Lacroix is gross.

Sparkling waters like pellegrino or topo Chico.

There are some fun non-alcoholic drinks at Trader Joe’s as well, like sparkling teas.

La Croix or Bubly for sparkling water/seltzer
Poppi drinks are popular
unsweetened iced teas

I don't know many adults that drink regular soda anymore other than an occasional diet coke at the movies.

15 middle-aged adults for a party at someone's house.
I was tasked with the non-alcoholic liquid.
There will also be alcohol.
I don't know how drink-y the crowd is, because a friend is inviting me and I don't know the rest.

Do I bring bottles of water (sparkling, non sparkling, flavored?), or cans?
Will any adult drink soda?
How much of everything?
