No snacks either?

Your meals are so modest. Good job!

No, nothing else. No chips. I had a cup of loose leaf green tea in the afternoon. I'm a 47 year old woman, my diet has drastically decreased - I just don't need as much food to feel full. That breakfast was a huge treat. Usually I just have an egg and some toast.

The last brioche french toast gave me heartburn.
Rice is empty calories.

Really? Do you have celiac disease? That's a normal amount of bread for any healthy adult to eat.

Food stays in your digestion tract for up to 72 hrs so it could be anything you ate in the past 3 days.

No, I just keep seeing news reports about cutting out ultra-processed foods and I legitimately find it difficult to figure out what counts in these studies and reports.

While Ultra processed can commonly be a shorthand for high in sodium and similar, it really isn't, on its own, an indication of health. Tofu, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, etc. Are highly processed foods.

I don’t think the bacon and turkey are. Just the bread.

I'm confused. Are you getting a stomachache and think it's something you ate yesterday?

Breakfast:
coffee (whole beans bought at costco -Mayorga brand - ground at home) with a splash of organic whole milk
french toast - made with purchased brioche bread from costco, eggs, whole milk, cinnamon, sugar, organic maple syrup grade A
bacon (yeah, I know that one!)

Lunch:
turkey sandwich with multigrade sourdough from whole foods bakery, turkey from a pre-cooked costco turkey breast sliced at home, lettuce and tomato from our CSA, peach from our CSA

Dinner:
stirfry with pork tenderloin, bok choy from our CSA, ginger, garlic, spices
white jasmine rice in instant pot

Obviously the bacon is ultra-processed. Is the turkey breast? Is the bread? Just really curious - thanks!
