Some meds make you have dark circles. When my kid was on Keppra they always had dark circles.

This helps me- lymphatic drainage. I really see a difference when I take the time to do it.

I use Smashbox Undereye Brightening Concealer and then my regular concealer.

I did a makeup lesson with someone in Silver Spring and I feel like maybe she could help you. It’s mostly makeup but also some skincare.

It was helpful for me switching to products for my older skin

You put retin a that close to your eyes?

Co2 laser or PRP with Microneedling. At your age no cream or lifestyle changes will fix it.

Natasha Denona color corrector, then Westman Atelier concealer.

Use these after thick moisturizer.

Having purple rings around your eyes sucks. Good luck,OP.

I find under eye patches with gold are helpful in the morning for puffiness: https://www.amazon.com/PEAUAMIE-Hyaluronic-Circles-Puffiness-Treatment/dp/B0C1MKC3LX/ref=sr_1_9?crid=ZWEZE502T2ID&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.UozaUyx6qtWFAPbyFMePU_LJwQ0dEKBDJCShorEgCMYZYafcf2YK5ehybXWFFKMgO1XZyR_BRtU7seTNqDtCmDAXr-qE4u4lmdKNS76UndEBx7e9JRo78Tf1_zRv6_da6XGk3Cpk6OhTF2QUUPCLmmutR0QwfLp7RkEuKR6YwUMFcFVqHJrR1mt4Oips4ATH31mZZpX15btJUMpuvl-FJcJPSxxoImriBvy9QHSCv2CZelH7JPuCwlHY_qXzlSXXfFi3YaRyONmWVCzN-wikvW8V5YN1rn0s2P134FO3lJo.v0h30z_Rm3P_v7IsLILjh8Eq3fuzNWzGtiVC9hJxkd8&dib_tag=se&keywords=gold%2Bundereye%2Bmask%2Bpatches&qid=1756601246&sprefix=gold%2Bundereye%2Caps%2C193&sr=8-9&th=1

Then I use:
- Undereye cream. I like the origins ginzeng cream
- Color corrector. This is not coverup, and it's usually a complementary color to your skin. For my Indian skin, I use an orange. I use one from Chanel.
- Concealer. This matches my skin. I use one from Chanel.
- All over foundation. I use the Chanel water foundation, which is not heavy/cakey.

First eliminate any lifestyle factors that contribute or worsen the effect: inadequate sleep, alcohol, caffeine, smoking, untreated allergies, eye fatigue (too much screen use, not wearing sunglasses outdoors), inadequate iron intake, dehydration. Also, ask your doctor about your thyroid and liver.

After all that, if you are also dealing with genetic or aging factors causing the circles, try these:

- sleep with your head elevated
- start the day with cold compresses on your eyes
- give yourself regular spa treatments of cucumber or teabags
- use sunscreen daily
- use Vitamin C serum daily
- use Peter Thomas Roth gel eye patches for 20 minutes before putting on makeup (hydrates and plumps the skin)
- prime the skin under the eye before using concealer with something like a serum stick, glo stick, mango people juicy glo prep and hydrate balm (these are thicker and create a smooth surface while hydrating
- use a concealer on top of the balm that has been matched to your skin tone, but a shade or two brighter, then your regular tinted moisturizer on top of that.

Are you using retin a? It's not 100% the answer but helps.

Fat transfer, PRP or a tiny bit of filler.

Try a corrector instead of a concealer. I use a cheap Morphe peach color liquid corrector but there are various types.

My dermatologist says you can’t do that much.

I did search first before starting this thread. Lots of discussion about Usha’s under eyes but not much more that’s recent.

I’m 55 and my dark circles plus sometimes puffiness are really bumming me out. I cringe when I see myself in photos or on zoom. My drug store concealer plus tinted neutrogena day moisturizer are not cutting it.

Looking for recs for cream to use at night plus day time concealer.

Is there something a dermatologist/facial person could help me with? In the past I wouldn’t consider, but now I will.

Thanks so much
