We worked with Mainstreet and found them helpful for our goals of consolidating accounts, clarifying goals, and forced us to be accountable to a third party in terms of setting up wills , trusts etc.
In our case they had specific funds and ETFs they recommended for our portfolio— mostly Vanguard. They did not seem that knowledgeable about tax implications or specific investments outside their preferred funds/ETFs. The para collecting our data seemed kind of clueless.
They focus a lot on daily budgeting and money management, etc.
This is our experience only. I can see them being especially helpful for someone starting out or with debt problems.
We felt it was money well spent for the most part, but a c suite executive probably has other needs. My opinion only.
Would love to hear others’ experiences with them.
