Was just going to recommend these. The Switch 2 are supposed to be nice. Even Lisa Damour recommended these on one of her podcasts. Apparently she uses them for her spinning class.

My son is a musician and uses the basic pair.

The music at the Zumba classes I used to go to was very loud. The noise exposure warning on my AppleWatch would go off, so I would use earplugs.

I WANT the music in zumba to be loud. You're not supposed to hear people talk - you're supposed to feel the beat. Feel the music. Block out your thoughts.

Frankly, I wish the music were louder in other classes, too.

If it gets people moving, it’s not dumb. Don’t be such a snob.

Zumba is so dumb. Do a real workout.

If you can get used to foam ear plugs, they’re like a super power. I use them on planes, metro, to sleep in loud hotels, etc etc.

My YMCA keeps it reasonable. I went to a solid core. Never again. The yelling and the music was too much.

Yes it's too loud and not worth the hearing loss. After two classes I was done.

Zumba at my gym is loud but not ear ringingly loud. I know you don’t like ear plug but people should be wearing them if it’s that loud.

My gym offers a variety of classes. I like most of them. The volume of the music during the class varies--weightlifting, barre, boot camp medium, enough to set a beat but low enough to talk over; at spin the music is louder because you need to grind out a boring ride. At Zumba there is no verbal cuing and the music is so loud your ears ring after you leave. Ear plugs are an option but I don't like wearing them. Is Zumba just as loud everywhere? I would do more of it if it weren't for the volume.
