I think the boutique hotels might not have the 50 rooms for 3 days. You’ll probably get better offerings at some of the bigger upscale properties listed above.

But others - the Marriott Marquis? The largest hotel in the city? The Omni? One of the largest?

I’ve been to a conference there (didn’t stay there) and it was nice, but at the end of the day I assume people want to be able to be in / around a city (DC, Alexandria, Bethesda…) and not everyone will want to have to rent a car.

I used to live in NW DC - when I come back for work I pick the Omni to be near my friends at night and near the metro. I haven’t attended a conference there, but the conference spaces look nice and I generally like the hotel.

I'm a meeting planner based in DC for the last 20 years and have planned conferences all over the world. But realizing that I don't know the hotel market in my own city at all!

Working on a small meeting for July 2026; need about 50 rooms for a 3 day period. I prefer boutique/ small upscale hotels with meeting space for 50 people. Flexible on dates. Can anyone suggest hotels to look at as a starting point?
