Assuming this is a high school student. They need to figure this out. I’m sure the teacher talked to them about the syllabus and their tests- or will as they come up. Just because YOU don’t understand the syllabus is not a reason to reach out to the teacher.

When is the test? Seems quite early. Perhaps the material is coming. Or just email her for clarification.

Did the teacher assign chapters 1-2 for the students to read? Are there slideshows from class? Is your child able to email the teacher to ask for more guidance on what/how to study?

Tough to say this is what she’s thinking, but maybe her class notes that cover the materials in chapter 1-2 are what’s on the test.

My childs biology teacher told the class to not bother using the textbook to study…
But she herself has written on their online plan that chapter 1&2 will be in the test.

They haven’t gotten any other material to study with. So are they expected to use the internet?
What do you think?
