We ended the social and political recognition of the pandemic. That's not the same as a pandemic being over.
People get colds and influenza a lot, too. We don't call that a pandemic- we just call it normal.
We call influenza pandemic with some frequency, actually.
Rhinoviruses do not seem to have any lasting impact on any system of the body, but if you have evidence to the contrary, by all means present it.
