Yes, exactly this. It is generally fine to pop in during sneak peek/open house for just 10-15 minutes or so, or skip it entirely if your kid doesn't need/want to see their classroom and meet their teacher before the first day.

Next monday is sneak peek for an hour, and the following week has a back to school night at weekday evening. I forgot what sneak peek is for? The school recommends parents attend with kids. Do they really last for an hour? I forgot when the presentation or slides are on which day (the one with daily schedules, curriculum, etc), is that sneak peek or back to school night?
