Tell them kids have school in the morning? They’re not stupid. Why would me requesting this make any difference? I wouldn’t be telling them anything they didn’t already know. The noise ordinance is me requesting it.
Just call the non emergency line. The police will knock on the door and ask them to turn it down. It’s the same thing but you don’t put yourself in a conflict with neighbors.
