Questions: I assume if we are paid in full that the ECNL team can't stop us from leaving? Does it make any difference if we do this now (before the season has started) vs waiting another month to see how things are going (say, late September after the season is underway). The two teams do not play each other in league obviously. We have no desire to make anyone angry just want to ensure she has a good situation.

thats a lot of money to giveAnonymous wrote:They can't prevent you from leaving if you have met your contract agreement related to team fees. Some fees with clubs are trailing so be sure that if you leave you will not be billed for tournament fees etc.
You can play ECNL and GA simultaneously as both leagues use different player cards. It would be a different situation if you wanted to move from ECNL to ECNL or GA to GA as you generally can't be on two teams in the same league.
My kid played for a ECNL and GA club for the short period between tryouts and the following full season in which they were recruited. We played with the team at a couple of events to end the year while playing for the other club and their events. No problem.
