Does it make any difference if we do this now (before the season has started) vs waiting another month to see how things are going (say, late September after the season is underway). The two teams do not play each other in league obviously. We have no desire to make anyone angry just want to ensure she has a good situation.

Season just started. Give it some time.

Let me guess. Not happy with the inflated ECNL roster sizes and not living up to the promises the coaches made you?

You can play ECNL and GA simultaneously as both leagues use different player cards. It would be a different situation if you wanted to move from ECNL to ECNL or GA to GA as you generally can't be on two teams in the same league.

My kid played for a ECNL and GA club for the short period between tryouts and the following full season in which they were recruited. We played with the team at a couple of events to end the year while playing for the other club and their events. No problem.
thats a lot of money to give
Up… but i think ur right or their maybe a coolout period ecnl wise. Ive seen kids go from ecnl to ga and vice versa but never ecnl to ecnl. Check out that other bsc thread

Not aware of any rules preventing you from leaving and joining another team in another league. Let the TD know what you just posted and ask for the release. Ask for some of your non deposit back and move on.

If you paid in full upfront just ask for your money back since the season just started. If they refuse take them to small claims. They'll lose and you'll get your money back.
