Yes. Why is everyone so paralyzed if she does not plan? The idea itself was a good one.
Eh because we are all super busy ourselves and since she started the chain, she should at least follow up, don’t you think? ‘Hey, so glad this is coming together. I’m in! Can someone find a restaurant?’
She literally just doesn’t respond. At all. And then 3 months later, will start a new email.
Doesn’t anyone call her out, even nicely, like "yes Larla, the 25th works, can you make the reservation and send the evite?"

I know this friend!
She is charismatic and everyone pretty much has her in common...i.e. we are all "mutual friends of P." So no one's doing anything without her.
I think she's moved on to new people but wants to make sure she's not forgotten?
I know she's left behind a lot of friend groups in her wake.

I don't know, I have anxiety and can picture myself doing that once, and not knowing how to handle once I flaked, but I'd literally be too anxious to ever try again.

The emails typically start with a sweet, almost maudlin invitation ‘I miss you all so SO much, it’s been such a challenging year, we MUST make a plan! What dates work for you? I’m free X Y Z dates… how about we plan to meet in this area? Xoxoxo’ and then people jump in and start responding, and she doesn’t respond again… total silence. Nothing.
This happens maybe twice a year or more, for the last several years. And each time she sends a new email, there is no acknowledgement that a previous chain was started and dropped…
I don’t know what to make of this…
