So what exactly does your pay stub say?

Are they withholding money for your 401k, health & dental, vacation accrued, etc?

Are you on some sort of trial basis (like 90 business days)?

And what makes you think youre not enrolled in the benefits? Was there no on-boarding? No paperwork?

Is it to YOU to select your Healthcare (BCBS, Kaiser, UHC, whatever), but you dont know how? (Go online, the Healthcare marketplace)?

Are you a FT employee? Maybe you misread the small print?

The good news is that most health benefits are retroactive to the date of eligibility. You should ask your HR if this is the case for you. Doesn’t make you feel better in the meantime and may not address things like matching in a 401k but maybe that’s something that could lower the stress about it.

I assume you are you her so probably healthier. Eat healthy, exercise, get your 8 hrs sleep, mediate, drink water, have plenty of sex (if you have a partner), avoid alcohol and you can increase your odds of avoiding major health crisis.

Stop just emailing and call and go by the person's office. If that does not work within a week, bring in to your boss's attention in an email and a convo. This is ridiculous!

That’s a red flag.

I was offered an entry level position with benefits (medical, dental, 401K...) at a small company. After 4 months on the job and performing very well I still have not received my benefits package. I followed up with an email a few times. The company keeps making excuses. What could be the problem? I am happy to have a job so I try not to be too aggressive but this does not seem right. I have never experienced anything like that before.
