What would prevent running the software in a virtual machine?

This.

For phones, they *should* be okay with it powered off and put away in a backpack. But it does have to be a full powered off shutdown.

I would have kid bring charging cord just in case. Sometimes the test starts closer to 9.

There is a secure place to store their phones? They can’t bring them in the testing room right?

I think they had them in their backpacks on the floor at my kid’s school.

Yeah he has done half a dozen over the summer. Very familiar with it.

Often the test will start closer to 8:30.

There is also a 10 min break in the middle.

I would make sure he knows your password, just in case.

My kid is using my computer for this weekend's test at McLean HS.

Will the kids be given instructions on how to connect to the McLean HS wi-fi if they don't go there and already have the connection saved on their computer?

Also, I am 99% sure I have disabled the screen saver, so he doesn't have to remember my password to get back into it.

He will take the computer fully charged when he goes to the test.

Also, complicated story but I need to have a family member pick him up when the test is done. Should they arrive at 10:30 a.m. for the 8 am test?

Any other tech things I am overlooking?
