I don't buy the seedless watermelon. It doesn't taste nearly as sweet as a seeded watermelon.
It is getting harder and harder every year to find seeded watermelons in the grocery stores, sadly.

I think you should just ignore them and eat them. DH is really finicky and will make a big show of picking each one out, even at a restaurant or a friend’s house. I think that’s a combination of unnecessary and rude.

I cut them out. Team DH. I cut out cucumbrr seeds too, also tomato seeds. OCD here.

It really came out. . . water. Not even pink, not even slightly pink. No flavor. I suppose I could have tried cooking it down but that seems like it would have been pointless.

Extra watermelon should be seeded (if necessary), then blended with mint simple syrup and a bit of lime juice, frozen in a shallow, scratch-resistant container, and then scraped with a fork to make watermelon granita

(or just pour it into popsicle molds, though the texture will be slightly off)

Does he do this with cucumbers too?

Use a cutting board with an indentation or "juice groove" around the edge. Cut the melon in half, lay it on its cut side, cut the top off, cut down the sides to remove the rind, then cut the inside into bite-size pieces.

When I cut up a watermelon, I drain the juice from the cutting board into a cup and use it for drinks (watermelon lemonade, watermelon mojitos/margaritas), or to make popsicles.

Love watermelon chunks with fried chicken and chilled white wine.

I buy a whole watermelon and just wrap it up tightly and put it in the fridge. Doesn't leak. We can easily consume it in a couple days.

Most popular ways are:
Sprinkles with Tajin
Mixed with feta, mint, and a little balsamic vinegar

Suddenly watermelons are cluttering up multiple threads, so here is a dumping group for all of your watermelon woes, vents, loves, recipes, stories, etc. Have at it.
