My DD uses Forest Essential - an Ayurvedic brand from India for the past 5 years.

I am not sure how tariffs will impact this. Anyhoo, she has a good enough stock to last her for at least two years.

I'd like to see what source you consulted that told you they could cause hormone disruption.

Parabens are classified as endocrine disruptors, but most drug store brands advertise themselves as paraben-free these days, so not exactly sure what OP’s referring to. Perhaps there are other ingredients that are problematic.

Regardless, products you apply to your skin (and your scalp is skin) can and will be absorbed into your body in varying amounts. Won’t necessarily cause issues for everyone or for anyone, but you must at least realize that this stuff gets into your body.

They use non toxic brands, whatever happens to be on sale.

Giovanni is a nice non-toxic line you can get at Whole Foods. I also like Pacifica.

We use vegan brands because I like products not tested on animals. They’re purchased at Target or Amazon though.

Go on the clean beauty website Credo, and pick a shampoo. They guarantee that they select products that comply with their transparency and ingredients criteria.

My daughter and I use Innersense products. I try to always pick relatively non-toxic make-up and skincare items.

Hormone disruption?

They use drug store brand yes. Haven't grown any new body parts or mutations yet.

My DD has always used Pantene, but I’m learning that it isn’t the healthiest choice and can potentially cause hormone disruption? At the same time, the organic brands don’t always seem to do the trick.

What does your girl use?
