I bought a couple sample kits through Amazon. Just sort of common brands like polo, etc.. It’s easy to find an 8 to 10 pack with name brands.

Then he sorted them and picked his favorites and we got him a couple things. Be prepared to be gassed out of the car until he learns how to use it properly.

There's an entire cologne section at Sephora- lots of teen guys go in there to check them out.

Very popular among high school boys. DC wears Tom Ford, but it’s expensive and he started at 16. I wouldn’t spend that much on a 14 yo.

But 2 years later it’s suddenly ok?!

OP, I bought a sampler for my kid from Target. It was for Christmas; otherwise I agree with a pp to let him choose.

Lol, I meant to say have you ever known one? It’s harmless and they think it makes them cool.

He needs to try it on in a store, what smells good on you might smell terrible on him.

I read a thread on here a few months ago and thought the same but then asked my two kids. We are wrong. My son told me a ton of HS boys wear it, he just doesn’t. My daughter agreed.

But then I thought about how he’s super picky about his soap and the scents on that and how I can only buy one particular brand of it and deodorant.

I agree, go to Macys or a drug store and have him smell some. Buy something he likes.

You are annoying. Please stay at home and away from normal people.

OP, I would take him to cvs or Macys and let him pick out something he likes

What’s ‘in’ right now?? What is a good starter scent that won’t be overpowering?? Have no idea where to even start. Thank you for any suggestions!
